Customer is king, so are you the court supplier we are looking for? As a customer service employee, you manage the transport process over land and sea, and solve logistical issues. No day is the same in this pleasant team.
As a customer service employee, you have a varied and important job. You must be able to perform several tasks simultaneously, work with different systems and collaborate with our production and sales team.
The Swaen is a Dutch family business that has been around for more than a hundred years. We make quality malts, the main ingredient of beer and whiskey. It is also used in the food industry, but that sounds a little less exciting. We have customers all over the world, mainly craft brewers.
What will you do in this position?
- You are the first contact person for customers.
- You handle inbound and outbound calls in an effective, efficient and customer-oriented manner.
- Manage the daily transport process by land and sea.
- Proactively inform customers about the status of orders and any deviations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to solve logistical problems quickly and efficiently.
- Register all order information and deviations in the order processing system.
- Customer-friendly and targeted handling of complaints and reports.
- Work with various systems, including a WMS and ERP system.
Job requirements for the vacancy for Customer Service Employee
- You speak and write Dutch and English excellent. An additional language is a bonus.
- It would be ideal if you already have some experience in organizing (international) sea transport and have knowledge of export-related documentation such as Phytosanitary, CVO, EX-A and B/L.
- If you do not yet have all the knowledge, but you are a fast learner, we would also like to get in touch with you.
- You are not afraid to call or speak to a colleague to arrange the best outcome for our customers.
- You have an MBO level 4 work and thinking level.
