During the CraftBrewer Conference 2020 in Nashville, Tennessee we took our time to catch up with our American distributor L.D. Carlson. The main purpose was to offer technical and commercial support, but the people of L.D. Carlson showed us much more.
Prior to the CraftBrewer Conference they organised some visits to local craft brewers. Here, they presented The Swaen and we discussed quality, malt solutions for brewing problems and of course the combination of flavours and malt types. Each event was held in a different craft brewery and was attended by craft brewers and the owners of brewing material shops .
We visited four areas – Washington DC, Baltimore (MA), Cleveland (OH) and Columbus (OH) – and met around 15 breweries, like Crooked Run, The Farm, True Respite, 3 Stars and many others.
The Nashville CraftBrewer Conference was a big success. A lot of brewers visited our booth and were very interested in the portfolio of The Swaen. Existing customers were pleased to meet us in real life. We gladly took the opportunity to catch up and talk about our products. The feedback was very positive and we made a lot of new friends.
After 9 days of traveling, we took the last evening off to visit Broadway in Nashville. There we were enchanted by the fantastic music in almost every bar and restaurant. It’s not called the Music City for nothing!
