The Swaen is a Dutch family business that has been around for more than a hundred years. We make quality malts, the main ingredient of beer and whiskey. It is also used in the food industry, but that sounds a little less exciting. We have customers all over the world, mainly craft brewers.
What will you do?
- You’ll ensure that brewers in the Netherlands and Belgium receive the best malt for their beer.
- Actively acquire new leads and build strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Collaborate within an international sales and marketing team to achieve shared goals.
- Prepare and calculate quotes and contribute to tenders for new orders.
- Visit customers and represent our company at national and international trade fairs.
- Accurately record and administratively follow up on sales calls and customer appointments.
Who are we looking for?
- A driven commercial colleague with a vocational (MBO) work and thinking level.
- Fluent in Dutch and English. French is a plus.
- Detail-oriented and accurate, even under tight deadlines.
- Proactive, customer-focused, and able to identify opportunities.
