Gold Swaen Aroma intensifies body and smoothness, and promotes head formation and retention. It has a dark-reddish hue. It’s a real spice for your beer, with hints of nuts and caramel.

Usage

Amber Ale, Dark Ale, Stout, Porter, all dark beers.

Caramel malts

Caramel malts have come a long way, but their roots go back to traditional kilning techniques. Brewers once covered kilns with tarpaulins to trap moisture while heating green malt to 60–75°C. After two hours, the starch inside fully converted to sugars.

Storage and shelf life

Our malt is best stored in a moderate temperate, low humidity, pest free environment at less than 20ºC or 68°F. It is best used within 6 to 18 months from manufacturing date, depending on the type of malt. We always provide a Best Before date. All our malts are manufactured conform to EU and International regulations. They are transported only by GMP-certified transporters. Please note: improperly stored malts are prone to loss of freshness and flavour.
